NO EXTRA EQUIPMENT NECESSARY

STAINBUSTER® latch-head burs, are used at chairside with a contra-angle and a water spray which all practitioners and hygienists have in their dental office, and require no special device.
USE AT LOW SPEED

IMPORTANT: STAINBUSTER® burs act as grinding instruments, not as cutting burs: they act by grinding layer after layer. Therefore, to be efficient, STAINBUSTER® burs have to be used at low speed, between 5,000 and 10,000 rpm, applying light pressure and with a fine water spray.

The water spray carries away the grinding debris, cleans up the working field, and enhances visibility and control.

Using a water spray, the abrasive action is far softer and STAINBUSTERS lose none of their effectiveness.

High speed would clog the spaces between the fibers sections and reduce their abrasive power.

Note that STAINBUSTER® burs do not heat as they work and using them without water spray is by no way harmful or contra-indicated at low speed: in this case, of course, pratitioners and hygienists should simply spray and rinse out the instrumented area to remove any kind of debris left.

AUTOCLAVABLE BURS

STAINBUSTER® burs are autoclavable up to 135°C.
CAN BE USED AS DISPOSABLE BURS

STAINBUSTER® burs can be used as disposable burs, one bur per patient, depending on the work being done and the shape used.

The pointed shape, essential to reach difficult and very narrow places wears more quickly: practitioners and hygienists can subsequently use it in more accessible places, for its abrasive power remains intact even if the initial shape is lost.
